About the longevity research compounds

Longevity research peptides and related compounds are studied for their roles in cellular energy, mitochondrial function and the biology of ageing. MOTS-C is a mitochondrial-derived peptide investigated in metabolic-stress and exercise models; SS-31 is a tetrapeptide that binds cardiolipin in the inner mitochondrial membrane; and NAD+ is the coenzyme central to sirtuin activity and cellular redox balance. 5-Amino-1MQ is a small-molecule NNMT inhibitor studied in adipocyte models, SLU-PP-332 is an ERR agonist examined in exercise-mimetic research, and Glutathione is the principal intracellular antioxidant tripeptide. Epithalon, a synthetic tetrapeptide, is studied in telomerase and circadian research, and Thymosin Alpha-1 is investigated in immune-modulation models.

Every item ships in a sealed vial; every batch is third-party tested, and reports are in the COA library. Comparison pages such as NAD+ vs Glutathione, SS-31 vs MOTS-C and Epithalon vs NAD+ contrast their proposed mechanisms and the studies behind them.

These compounds are sold for laboratory research use only. They are not dietary supplements and are not intended for human or animal use.

Frequently asked questions

Which of these compounds are peptides?

MOTS-C, SS-31, Epithalon, Thymosin Alpha-1 and Glutathione are peptides. NAD+ is a coenzyme, and 5-Amino-1MQ and SLU-PP-332 are small molecules; they are listed here because they are studied in the same cellular-energy and ageing models.

How do MOTS-C and SS-31 differ?

Both are mitochondria-associated. MOTS-C is encoded in mitochondrial DNA and studied in metabolic-stress signalling; SS-31 is a synthetic tetrapeptide that binds cardiolipin in the inner mitochondrial membrane. See the SS-31 vs MOTS-C comparison for detail.

Are these supplements?

No. Nothing in this section is a dietary supplement or intended for human or animal use. All items are supplied for laboratory research only.

Research use only. Products in this category are sold for laboratory research and are not for human or animal use. See the COA library for lab results and Compare for side-by-side research notes.
