How We Test: Third-Party COAs

Short answer: Prime Peptide Solutions has its batches tested by independent, ISO/IEC 17025-accredited third-party labs, ILS Labs and Kovera Labs. Each Certificate of Analysis (COA) is lot-specific: it covers one batch and one size, and reports HPLC purity and mass spectrometry (MS) identity. Every COA is published in our COA library, so you can read it, and verify it with the lab, before you order.

Who tests the peptides?

Independent third-party laboratories that are accredited to ISO/IEC 17025, the international standard for testing and calibration labs: ILS Labs and Kovera Labs. We do not self-certify; the lab's name and report number are on every COA.

What does each COA show?

• Purity by high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC), with the chromatogram
• Identity by mass spectrometry (MS), confirming the molecule's mass
• The batch (lot) number, the size tested, the test date and the lab's report number

Some COAs also include extra screens; each COA lists exactly what was tested.

Is the COA specific to my batch?

Yes. COAs are lot-specific: one COA per batch and per size. When a new batch arrives, it is tested and its own COA is published.

Can I see the COA before I buy?

Yes. Every published COA is public, with no account needed: in the COA library, on each lab report page, and on the product page itself. Each report page has the full PDF and the lab's report number so you can confirm it with the lab directly.

What happens if a batch fails testing?

It is not listed for sale. Only batches that pass independent testing are sold.
